CHANGELOG

Release notes

Short notes on meaningful changes to this portfolio.

1.4.0

A Quieter Portfolio

The interface moved to a square, monochrome editorial system.

I rebuilt the visual system around reading instead of decoration.

  • Replaced glass and operating-system-style cards with solid editorial surfaces.
  • Self-hosted the display, serif, body, and mono fonts.
  • Standardized spacing, borders, headings, chips, and page widths.
  • Updated the public role to Senior AI Engineer across content and metadata.
  • Removed animated backgrounds, visitor telemetry, and the public Twitter link.
  • Added quota protection and safer failure handling to the assistant.

The goal was simple: fewer effects, less filler, and a clearer account of the work.

1.3.0

Search, Chat, and Dark Mode

Search and assistant tools became easier to reach without dominating the site.

This release connected the search, chat, and theme controls to the shared site shell.

  • Added cross-page search for projects, posts, roadmaps, and changelog entries.
  • Added a public assistant with quota and error handling.
  • Improved contrast in dark mode.
  • Kept these tools optional so the portfolio still works as a straightforward website.
1.2.1

Performance and Accessibility Pass

Less work on initial load and clearer keyboard behavior.

I removed avoidable work from common page loads and reviewed the main interactions with a keyboard.

  • Improved image sizing and lazy loading.
  • Reduced repeated requests where cached data is sufficient.
  • Added clearer labels and focus states.
  • Fixed several mobile overflow problems.

I deliberately removed the old synthetic performance numbers; changes are only described when they are represented by the implementation.

1.2.0

Learning Roadmaps

Structured React, Vue, Express, Kubernetes, and MCP notes are now available.

I published the first set of practical learning roadmaps. They are reference notes I can return to, not a promise of a complete course.

  • React and Vue fundamentals through advanced topics.
  • Express API patterns and deployment notes.
  • Kubernetes operations and security.
  • MCP server, transport, and production guidance.

Progress is stored locally, so visitors can leave and continue later without creating an account.

1.1.0

Next.js 16 and React 19.2

The portfolio runtime moved to the current Next.js and React releases.

The application now runs on Next.js 16 and React 19.2. I updated the build configuration and checked the existing routes against the newer runtime behavior.

1.0.1

Navigation and Mobile Cleanup

A small pass on navigation, responsive layout, and loading behavior.

This update focused on ordinary friction rather than adding another feature.

  • Simplified the navigation structure.
  • Fixed several narrow-screen layout issues.
  • Deferred non-essential images and reduced duplicate client work.
  • Tightened metadata and page descriptions.
1.0.0

Changelog Added

A direct way to follow changes to the portfolio.

I added a changelog link to the home page so updates no longer disappear inside commit history.

  • Added the changelog route to the main navigation.
  • Linked it from the home-page introduction.
  • Kept the control consistent with the rest of the interface.
